Search Garland County Recent Arrests

Curious about who was arrested in Garland County? The jail roster is the place to start. Match each booking entry to the arresting agency and the court file when you need the full picture. Not every booking comes with a mugshot. Someone just arrested may not show up yet. A person released from custody may drop off the list entirely. Use Garland County recent arrests as a working map, then follow the official channels that separate county custody, state custody, and whatever a court eventually decides.

Garland County Recent Arrest Channels

Every Garland County arrest search begins in the same spot: the Sheriff's Detention Center page. Its Inmate Roster link sends you to a public inquiry tool. The tool is hosted on an outside domain. That looks strange at first. The county itself publishes the route, though. The search covers adults currently in custody, with booking-date filters and a detail record for each person. There is no separate 24-hour feed, 72-hour log, or weekly county blotter. The date filter helps narrow things down, but it does not promise a rolling window of new bookings.

Hot Springs adds a second official source. The city's Media Book holds police arrest and incident reports for weekdays. A Monday document folds in the weekend. Keep the two straight. The roster tracks county custody, while the Media Book tracks Hot Springs Police activity. Neither one settles the legal outcome.

Two companion pages go deeper on each pattern. The Daily Arrest Report covers same-day fallbacks, and the Weekly Arrest Log handles date searches and the HSPD reports. The official detention source shown here names the facility and the roster route.

Why New Garland Arrests Lag

Why does a brand-new Garland County booking go missing? Hot Springs Police answers that plainly. Unless an officer releases someone with a citation, an HSPD arrest ends up at Garland County Detention Center. Until processing finishes, the person stays off the roster. Intake covers identity checks, property inventory, charge entry, health screening, fingerprints, a photo, and housing decisions. No county source promises those steps finish on a set clock.

A blank result does not mean no arrest happened. Search the exact name with a booking-date range. For urgent questions, call detention reception at 501-651-7801 or Booking at 501-651-7833. VINE sends alerts once data reaches the state system, but it lags a fresh intake check.

Important: Processing, current custody, release, and court disposition are separate states. Record which source and status were confirmed.

The HSPD FAQ captured here documents the delay and normal transport route.

Search Garland County Jail Bookings

The public inquiry allows a precise Garland County bookings search. You can filter by age, booking date range, booking number, charge, name, race, sex, and S.O. number. Results sort by name, date, age, race, or sex. Start with a name. Add a date or booking number to keep two people with similar names apart. The default view focuses on adults in current custody. The county does not say how long an older result stays online.

Use the roster in four steps:

  1. Open the county detention page and follow Inmate Roster.
  2. Search the name and add a booking-date range.
  3. Open the detail and note the booking number, agency, court, and custody facts.
  4. Use the court docket or custodian for later status.

This list is text-led rather than a mugshot gallery. Some booking details include a photo. Others do not, and the gap can stem from processing, a restriction, the record itself, or a broken image. Garland County publishes no written photo policy, refresh schedule, or retention period. There is no verified sheriff jail app. Can a released person still be found? A date search may pull up an older detail, but the county offers no guarantee. When the current query fails, file a focused request or check CourtConnect.

Garland Arrest Reports Split Locally

Garland County pulls its multi-day arrest material from systems with different jobs. HSPD Media Books are the official home of Hot Springs Police arrest and incident reports. That Monday-plus-weekend arrangement is a city habit, not a county booking schedule. Mountain Pine posts no separate public arrest log. Fountain Lake falls under the Garland County Sheriff's Department, so the county route stays primary.

Local news adds color but cannot stitch these sources into one complete blotter. Arkansas 911 News runs dated Garland mugshot features. The Hot Springs Village Voice publishes narrative police reports. News entries can skip an event. They can run behind on a correction or linger after a release. For real custody status, check the county or VINE. The official HSPD Media Book page shown below spells out the weekday split.

Hot Springs Police Media Book arrest reports in Garland County

This is a Hot Springs agency-report source. It is not a live county roster. Treat it as a window on city police work rather than a custody list. Note: A report date, an arrest date, and a booking time may differ because each system records a distinct event.

Garland County Arrests by City

City lines tell you which agency made the report. Garland County still runs one shared detention path. HSPD usually transports arrestees to the county center unless it hands out a citation. Mountain Pine has its own municipal police department with no public blotter. Fountain Lake is policed by the Sheriff's Department.

Hot Springs Village is a census-designated place. It sits outside the three incorporated places on the city map. Even so, its name can surface in agency labels or local news reports. So do not treat the map as the last word. A Garland County arrest can still happen outside it.

Garland County Booking Record Fields

A Garland County booking detail typically lists a name, address fields, age, race, booking date and time, days incarcerated, booking number, and a charge table. The charge table includes the charge, bond, arrest agency, court, court date, and disposition. A photograph often appears on the detail. Values vary case by case. An empty field should never be filled in from a private website.

FieldWhat it shows
Booking numberIntake identifier, stronger than a name alone
Date and timeJail intake, not always arrest time
ChargeRecorded charge, not conviction
BondRelease-related value, not a sentence
AgencyArresting agency in the jail record
Court and dispositionInitial routing and any displayed status

Every records request should carry a booking number. Garland posts no single arraignment calendar. Instead, the county offers court-search paths, and a docket check tells you what actually happened after the booking. Keep in mind that a listed court date only marks a scheduled matter, never proof the hearing took place.

Booking
Jail intake and its record.
Arraignment
A court stage when charges are addressed.
Bond
A release condition, not a verdict.
Disposition
The court’s later result.
Sealing
A court process that limits access when granted.

Garland Mugshots and Custody Photos

For a current booking photo, the county-linked detail page is the right path. There is no photo grid. Open the individual result instead. Garland County does not promise that every result carries an image. Nor does it say how long one stays public. A booking photo documents a custody event, nothing more.

The Arkansas Department of Corrections runs its own profiles for people who enter state custody. An ADC institutional photo may differ from the earlier Garland booking photo. ADC also skips anyone merely held at the county jail. People released after arrest processing or cited are skipped too. Federal matters sit elsewhere. BOP and ICE each maintain separate locators. Neither fills a gap in a county record.

When an official detail lacks the image you need, request it. The booking photograph comes from the county. Avoid copying a face from an aggregator. A custodian may deny, redact, or limit records. Those tied to juveniles, victims, active investigations, sealed matters, or protected data face the tightest limits.

Request Garland County Arrest Records

Garland NextRequest handles requests for detention booking sheets and photographs. Pick the Detention Center or the Sheriff's Office. Hot Springs and State of Arkansas records fall outside the portal. City records handle an HSPD report. That split keeps each request with its proper custodian.

  1. Give the name, likely date, agency, and booking number.
  2. Name each item, such as the sheet, charge detail, or photo.
  3. Ask for electronic delivery and omit needless private identifiers.
  4. For withheld material, ask for the legal basis and segregable parts.

The county FAQ sets the ground rules. Portal requests need an identified requester and a valid email. Arkansas FOIA applies to Arkansas citizens. Records should be supplied at once unless in active use or storage. An initial response may then take up to three business days. Fees cover actual reproduction cost, not staff time. Electronic copies are generally free. The county publishes no fixed booking-photo fee and no guaranteed turnaround.

HSPD prices its police incident and arrest reports at $5. That figure does not set a county photo price. The HSPD Records office sits at 641 Malvern Avenue, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 501-321-6789 ext. 7006. For county records, call 501-622-3676. The county request FAQ spells out scope, timing, and costs.

Arkansas Arrest Photo Removal Law

Arkansas Code § 4-75-102 targets sites that publish booking photographs and demand payment for removal. A covered site must post contact details. It must also offer a no-fee written request. That request must name the person, birth date, arrest date, and agency. The law allows five business days for covered qualifying removal. Enforcement and penalties back this up. Read the current statute and seek counsel for case-specific advice.

This law does not order Garland County to erase a lawful record. It seals no court files and removes no every copy. Four layers stay distinct. There is correction by the source agency. There is a court sealing order where eligible. There is each republisher's free process. And search engines refresh after a source changes. Skip any service claiming special removal access for a fee.

RecentlyBooked states that its removal, suppression, or modification process is free for listed grounds. Mugshots.zone and Busted Newspaper also publish free forms for stated cases. Those policies are not court rulings. Approval is never promised. Arrests.org publishes no clearly Garland-local free form, and Mugshots.com carries no Garland-local section.

ACIC supplies sealing forms but cannot pick a form or decide eligibility. An update can take up to 30 days after an approved order arrives. Rules vary. Arkansas Legal Aid, at 1-800-952-9243, or private counsel can assess the path.

Withheld Garland Booking Records

Never read the adult roster as evidence about juvenile custody. Arkansas Code § 9-27-309 sets the rule. It generally treats juvenile arrest, detention, proceeding, and investigation records as confidential. That holds unless an exception applies. A missing juvenile result means only that no public adult result exists.

Other material can also be withheld or redacted. This includes sealed matters, confidential investigations, protected victim data, and identifiers restricted by law. A strong request asks for all segregable material. That means the parts left releasable once protected details come out. No request should ever try to expose a child through a private archive.

Note: "Not found," "processing," "released," "withheld," and "sealed" are five different results and must not be confused with one another.

Garland County Warrant Checks

Garland County publishes no online active-warrant database and no current most-wanted page. HSPD offers a procedure for checking your own status. Appear at the Police Department with state-issued photo ID. The department does not give out another person's warrant status over the phone. CourtConnect may show failure-to-appear entries or docket activity. But it is not a live warrant index.

The HSPD FAQ lists Crime Stoppers at 501-321-6742 as an anonymous tip route. A tip is not proof that someone is wanted or dangerous. Never approach, follow, detain, or confront a person based on a rumor or photo. Emergencies go to 911. Someone resolving an own warrant should contact the court or counsel. They should not seek evasion advice.

Is there an official most-wanted gallery? The county posts none, with no list, count, cadence, or photo policy. A private list can never substitute for an official source.

After a Garland County Arrest

Court work in Garland County runs through CourtConnect, the state's official lookup for filings, docket entries, and judgments. Check there once a booking moves into court. The jail roster posts no arraignment schedule, and a court date listed at intake can shift. The docket is what matters.

Each record answers a different question. Booking detail shows intake at the jail. A Hot Springs police report shows the officer's work. The docket carries the case in court, VINE tracks custody and sends alerts, and ADC takes over after a move to state custody. Lumping these together invites bad conclusions.

One more figure deserves context. The Garland row in the Arkansas DPS 2023 report lists 444 adult arrests. It is an agency-reported statistic with category limits. Treat it as a count, not a live jail tally of every booking in Garland County.

The docket adds a court layer that an intake charge and photo cannot supply.

Older Garland Arrest Record Archives

Garland County sets no public retention period for booking details, photos, or Media Books. Someone can walk out of custody, the default roster query can stop showing the entry, and the source record may still sit in a file somewhere. A private archive can linger long after release. None of that proves sealing, deletion, or accuracy.

Chasing an older booking takes patience. Search by date first. Then ask the Detention Center or the Sheriff's office directly. Hot Springs police records cover city reports, and CourtConnect holds the court history. The Arkansas State Archives can point to historic county, court, or sheriff collections, though no digital Garland photo series is listed there. The current Detention Center opened in 2015 on 57 acres, about 168,000 square feet, so an older reference may mean a prior facility.

Note: State preservation rules can pull some old county and municipal records into state custody and require notice before disposal, but they do not prove any modern photo was transferred. Library newspaper archives add color to a story. They are not booking custodians.

Official and Unofficial Garland Sources

Start with official sources for any Garland County arrest question. The county inquiry confirms detention data, and VINE sends custody alerts. HSPD handles city reports. CourtConnect traces the case. ADC covers state custody. BOP or ICE matter only when the facts point federal.

Unofficial republishers fill a different niche. Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, Mugshots.zone, and Spa City News can surface a lot fast. A date, a spelling, or an arresting agency turns up quickly. But their pages can sit stale, incomplete, or duplicated. They can also stay visible after release. RecentlyBooked's last-30-days label is its own claim, not county policy. Spa City News splits current from all statuses. It remains unofficial.

Verify every private hit against an official source. Source date, booking number, agency, and court outcome give a record its meaning.
